Our 22,500-square-foot, newly renovated office is located just west of Raleigh in Graham. This facility serves as the home office of Big Rock’s executive team and is just a short drive to both the Raleigh-Durham and the Piedmont-Triad airports.

The history of Big Rock Sports in Canada goes back nearly 40 years to the founding of Inland Pacific Distributors, LLC in Langley, BC. Under the guidance of Tony Nesci and Stu Slater, Inland Pacific became the leader in hunting, fishing and marine distribution for independent retailers and eventually expanded east to serve retailers throughout Canada.
In 2011, Nesci and Slater transitioned the ownership of Inland Pacific to Big Rock Sports because they felt that Big Rock would be able to sustain the growth of the company. With the acquisition of Inland, Big Rock ensured that sporting goods retailers in Canada would continue to receive the services they had come to expect, in addition to Big Rock’s extensive product selection.
The outdoors is more than just a profession for us here at Big Rock Sports. As avid anglers, hunters and outdoor enthusiasts, it’s our passion. So advocating on behalf of the outdoor sporting goods industry is a top priority for us. Big Rock Sports is proud to serve as the voice and advocate of outdoor sporting goods retailers across North America.
We financially support associations that protect retailers who sell firearms. Big Rock Sports also works tirelessly to protect our fisheries, anglers’ rights and our customers by participating in crucial government committee hearings overseeing fisheries. We also ensure that government authorities who oversee fishing and shooting sports industry regulations are kept up to date with the latest, most accurate scientific studies.
Since its inception in 1996, Big Rock Sports has grown at an extraordinary rate, and Big Rock’s leadership team is a big part of the reason why. They work to ensure that everyone—vendors, retailers and employees—benefits from our growth. Because of their guidance, Big Rock is one of the largest distributors of firearms and fishing gear in all of North America.
Big Rock Sports has five distribution centers in the US and three in Canada. These regionally-focused distribution centers enable us to serve our retailers’ needs on a more personal basis. This is what has allowed Big Rock to become a true hometown distributor retailers rely on for local expertise and world-class service.
